Lititz 2025

For this retreat, we traded landscapes for history and charm, staying together in a beautifully converted chocolate factory right in the heart of Lititz. It's a town with a sweet reputation in more ways than one — home to the first pretzel bakery in America — and that bit of local history became the inspiration for our retreat project: a cabled vest, worked stitch by stitch like the twists and turns of a fresh-baked pretzel.

Between knitting sessions, we visited a Moravian museum, wandered the town, and explored its shops, saving our evenings for Amish-inspired sweets from Lancaster County — the perfect way to end each day.

It was a retreat full of good company, good stitches, and even better snacks. Yarn is love. Yarn is sweet. Yarn is Lititz.
