Alaska — 2026
Our biggest adventure yet started in Fairbanks, where we kicked things off at a reindeer ranch — walking alongside reindeer and learning about native Alaskan culture and customs. From there, we boarded a luxury train to Denali, then continued on to Anchorage, where we got up close with musk ox and everyone came away with qiviut yarn to knit a smoke ring, a traditional Alaskan cowl.
After a week exploring on land, we set sail for a week-long cruise through the Inside Passage — spotting wildlife, soaking in the scenery, and finding plenty of time to just relax and knit. Along the way, we stopped into local yarn shops and picked up a second project inspired by the art and colors we found there.
We knit together, made new friends, and welcomed two husbands and a crocheter into the mix — because yarn is love, yarn is family, and yarn is how we knit, relax, and explore, together.
