Salt Fork — 2024

Our very first retreat took us to Salt Fork Lodge, an Ohio state park lodge, for a Bigfoot-themed adventure — complete with a colorwork cowl project featuring a Bigfoot motif option, and a few "sightings" along the way. We tackled steeking and colorwork together, tried our hand at techniques some of us had never attempted before.

We also toured the Kennedy House, where we got to see beautiful handwork and an old spinning wheel — a nice nod to the craft traditions that came long before us.

It was a wonderful time from start to finish — so much so that we knew right then: Ewe & Me Retreats was just getting started. Yarn is love. Yarn is where it all began.
